I am a 34 year old female who feels like she is going insane. When I first started feeling like this a little over two years ago, I thought maybe I am at my sexual peak. It is going on three years now and after my period I am more sexually aroused than before it starts. I get so frustrated if I don't have sex that I become snappy, want to cry and literally want to rip off my female organ if you get my drift. Masturbating does not help and I believe I have a chemical imbalance. I have discussed this with my boyfriend and that I think I should consult a doctor, but he thinks I shouldn't do this because maybe they'll diminish my sex drive altogether and he says I am at my sexual peak. We haven't had sex in three weeks because of our schedules and then I came on my period. I am so frustrated and I don't like feeling like this. Has anyone else experienced feeling like this? Could I actually still be having my sexual peak or could I have a chemical imbalance perhaps?

The answers I have received thus far are funny, but I hope someone can really relate to what I am talking about. By the by, I have been married before and didn't have any problems in that department.

It must be a thirty thing, I`m going through the same thing. I`m aroused all the time, ( well when I see something I like, LOL). I just turn thirty this year, and I`m married. My husband has noticed this change in my sexual desire, it`s scarey sometimes. My tastes have changed too. Maybe women reach their sexual peak in their thirties, because I know six months ago, I didn`t have these desires. When a good looking or nice smelling guy walk by, my senses go crazy!! Maybe it`s nature`s last ditch effort at conception??? !! I don`t know, but I can sure relate to you.. If I were you I would enjoy this period in your life and take advantage of it, taking a antidepressant, ( or something to reduce your sexual desire) would be wasting the best years of you`re life. Remember, your young enough to get it, old enough to know what you want!!

Me and my wife have been together nearly 11 years and have her (our) daughter 10 son 9 and a new baby boy 18months. I can go for hours if she wants but it seems like since she hit this phase it's being bad and messing with other people that turns her on. I'm not ugly or fat or even lazy. Tall 6 ft dark hair and eyes with a muscular/athletic build. She turned 32 this summer and since then it's been a real strain on our marriage. I just hope she gets it out of her system soon because my heart can't handle the constant blow of felling obsolete.
