My great uncle made violins and I have a fully restored one that I got from my grandpa after he died and it's worth a pretty penny, but I wouldn't sell it for the world. I don't care how bad I needed the money, I would never be able to sell it.

I would. It's like on Antiques Roadshow when someone finds out their stuff is worth $40,000 and they say, "but I would never sell it, it's priceless." You know good and well that half of those people would go straight to the auction house.

no way one day hell be gone and youll wish you still had it, money cant replace those things also he thought that much of u to give it to you and call it a prized possesion . keep it no doubt

No, it's a heirloom. I would keep it, just in case grandpa died. I would have something to remind me of him.
