It is for an anniversary present so I don't need more than one. Unfortunetly all the sites I've been to only offer bulk orders.

Saw it on HGTV. Craft stores sell a spray that looks the glass has been etched. Cut out what you want on it and paste it to the glass and the apply your spray. You can go to the tv site and get more info if you need it.

You can personalize a shot glass yourself, you can buy some pens that can draw on glass and never come off, so if you are artistic you can do it yourself, or just get someone else to draw on the glass, saves spending lots of money on a glass =]

You should be able to buy single glass at a resturant / bar supply store. Take it to a jewler and have them engrave it. Once engraved it will last, until it's dropped.
