Wow, talk about spurning the male population.
All you women who totally agree with this are
either going for the "illegible" type of man who
can't "read women at all" or you yourself are simply
a nonsensical woman that complicates herself
so men don't understand you.
Not all men are thick-headed. Although I agree
with you to an extent that more than a handful
of men are often not the "reading into" type, there
are also men who will take the time to get to know
a girl.
To somewhat put it into a cheesy/ridiculous type
of figurative sense, I would have to say it depends
on the men you meet and where you meet them.
Let them find a "book" that interests them so they
take the time to read it, analyze it, and enjoy it.
Maybe then will a man be capable of saying they
understand women when they receive the chance
to do so.
And I'm curious...how many women actually understand
men just as well? It would be a partial lie if we said we
weren't just as bad.

Well, in most of my experiences of men reading books, they usually read through them without taking in a single word...
then come to us later, trying to figure out the connections and parts of the plot that should have been perfectly clear.
Reading without actually understanding the deeper meaning..
so I guess you could say they can read us just as well as they can read books....
superficially without getting the meaning or any connections ;)
For the hitting, I prefer my copy of the complete hitch-hiker's guide to the galaxy.... nice and heavy, yet light on content.

lol read like books eh.. was there a time when even ladies has to scan the page back for something so that they can uderstand the current statement that they dont get?? same like reading a book.. you always have to read something written at the past page.. ann again x(what ever # u want)..
we read the book.. but we read slowly to understand it.

That's so true. Some guys do like books, the ones with pictures, of course. LOL I read to my man and he pretends to listen. He don't even try to read me he just goes with the flow.

I am a faiytale, with great illustrations, a moral to the story, a great cover, and no index, loved by children, read aloud at night, and keep for a momento.
