Let grams be denoted g; let grains be denoted gr. Let aspirin compound be called A.

100.0gA x 15.4grA/1gA x 1tabA/5.00grA = 308 tablets A

I happen to be a chemical engineer in the pharmaceutical industry and if I could actually get 308 tablets from 100 grams of pure aspirin, it would be amazing. The only way to get 308 tablets would be to do it by hand to ensure there was no loss of material and no hangups in the pill pressing machines. In reality we would make millions of pills using ~1000kg of starting material at one time and would get a yield in the upper 90% range!
