that's a tragic mirrored image on many in society thatwe do no longer receive compliments or grievance or something nicely. there is something in our collective low shallowness in society that wonders why is he/she complimenting me ? What does he/she choose? what's in it for him /her? maximum people who do in contrast to themselves very plenty do no longer receive compliments nicely. often if that's a left surpassed compliment verging on an insult or a typical compliment I say thank you and circulate on. I do compliment others actual as i do no longer examine myself to absolutely everyone , so i'm able to compliment somebody out of a sturdy healthful experience of self -esteem. i are not getting jealous or green with envy , under no circumstances rather did so telling somebody they seem amazing or handosome and extremely which ability that's not a topic for me. I additionally can fortuitously congratulate human beings while they get a sparkling job or a promoting or in spite of and definitely advise it , no could desire to be ingratiating.

That depends upon who or what is complimenting. Some are sincere and others are not, but on average I am quite receptive to compliments directed toward me...take care...

Depending on what the compliment is about, who says it, I can still "blush" and smile and yes, say "thank you". If the compliment didn't turn out to be good, I "grin" and remain silent.

Usually I just say, "Thank you."
If I get the feeling that someone is saying something nice to me in order to get something from me, I have a harder time believing them as words can be cheap and I really don't like being used.

Hi ziggyman :)
I accept all compliments graciously :)
I often tell the person who sends a compliment my way that what we see in others, we also see in ourselves....
Snow :) :) :)

Good if it seems sincere. If it's about me personally I usually go with a simple thank you. If it's about something I have it shows a common interest. I'll usually say what I like about it, if it's proven itself a good choice or not and why.
