yes it can .There are many songs that do that, pending on my feelings at the time, but I really ''live'' my music. If they dont make me cry, they make the hair on my arms stand up and I get a funny tinkle in the back of my neck. Not all ofcourse.I be calling 999 if say i cryed to....Mr Blobby! mind you that particular one is for tears really, here in England the leaders of the music industry the world over and it still made it to No 1.It would make it straight out the window if it entered my home ever haha.

A little embarrassing to admit this, but Wind Beneath My Wings always makes me cry. It makes me think about my sister and I. I would be lost without her. We are each others wind. After 28 years of knowing each other, we are still as close as we were when we were kids. I'm a single parent and she allows my son and I to live with her and her husband. I don't know what I would do with out her.
Also, my parents wedding song makes me cry. Colour My World by Chicago.

Spritualized `Baby don't Cry' . My daughter was in hospital being treated for suspected meningitus at 3 days old, having had a lumbar puncture and various other horrible needles this song kept coming on the radio. 6 years later still makes me cry!!! (She was fine)

It depends if the song brings up old memories of like an ex or something.
One really sad song is Sara beth by Rascal Flatts which is about a girl with cancer.

Yes. At a funeral for an infant girl, they played Willie Nelson's "Angel Flying too Close to the Ground."
I tear up whenever I hear that song, ever since.

I think it's called Tears In Heaven. Makes me cry every time but only if I'm singing along with it, which speaks volumes!!

There are a lot of sings that make me cry simply because of the emotional side of things that surrounds them.
When my nan passed away it was cliff richard Ocean Deep that made me sob.
