It does not matter what race a baby if from, ALL BABIES ARE DIFFERENT SIZES. Not all American babies weigh between 7-9 lbs and are 21 inches long.

Some are smaller and some a bigger. Usually race has nothing to do with it. It is more often a matter of nutrition, genetics (all babies in that family are small/large), and how long the mother carries the baby. Usually "race" is not a major factor in a baby's size.

I think that all depends on the health of mother and child. We are all human, and as such have similar babies. I am a very small woman, I have small babies (5lbs 6oz and 5lbs 13 oz). i have a very good friend who had a 9 almost 10 lb baby. It all depends on size and health. An undernourished woman is going to have a smaller, less healthy baby than a woman who is able to eat right and take care of herself before, during and after the pregnancy.

Yes, some are. In fact, if the baby comes from certain races, you need to really watch it as growth charts, calorie recommendations, etc. all need to be different. People keep wanting to sidestep the answer in their postings, but different races do have different genetics, although size is usually the least important (except when the doctor is recommending treatment because baby doesn't meet standard baby growth charts).

Race makes no difference.. it's a babies genetic make up. It depends on the Mom and Dad, also depends on anyone in the family. You and your spouse may be short while a great grandparent may have been tall, your baby could take after that gene as well. Race or ethnicity make no difference.

I don't think it depends on race just heredity. There are large and small people in all races depending on where the ancestors lived and what occupations they had. For example Japanese people can be petite but sumo wrestlers are quite large.

There are certain traits that can be attributed mostly to one race or another, but nothing across the board. Just wanted to make that clear.

I think it depends on you and your partners sizes, you health, and how you eat. Not your race.
