I've tried looking this up on the net, but haven't found much. I've been having some really painful gas. I used to get this feeling sometimes before my period, or during. And then right after it i have to use the bathroom. Sorry TMI. It's been going on for a few days now. But has anyone had this before? I'm 32 weeks. And the last couple nights i have woke up in pain down in the vagina area. It only lasts for about a min, or two. But it hurts.

I wouldn't take anything. Just rub your lower back, have a nice warm shower, and stay clear of beans for a few days. Try going on all fours, and put your head down and your elbows down on the bed, with your bottom in the air. This helps get ride of gas really well.

gas shouldn't be hurting your vagina...call your dr. gas is normal during pregnancy and maybe the pains in the vagina are the baby dropping down. just call your dr and have them check it out. lol i fart like all the time. i don't even try to hide it or hold it in or whatever anymore. becuz it causes those pains.

Oh my lord! I had a few bouts of painful intestinal stuff...it hurt so bad I cried! Just remember, your baby is taking up a lot of room! Or you could have a bladder or yeast infection, which is what it's sounding like. Contact your provider.

I get the same symptoms whenever I fill up my car at the gas station! ;)

Seriously, though, why are you asking strangers about this, when you should be discussing it with your ob/gyn?
