The Dodgers are planning on firing Grady Little and replacing him with Joe Torre who in return wants to bring Don mattingly along with him. What are your thoughts on all of that? How do you think it will all play out? Do you think guys such as Jroge Posada, Andy Pettite, Roger Clemens, and perhaps Mariano Rivera might sign with the Los Angeles Dodgers? Anyway the story about Joe Torre is right on this link:

You've said it all my friend. We all know that Joe Torre was one of the best managers out there, and yes, we were spoiled by him, getting us to the playoffs EVERY year, and getting us to the world series 6 times and winning it 4 times. But the hard truth is that we cant expect Girardi to have the same amazing beginning. we can expect him to do well, but not as great as Joe Torre. There's only one Joe Torre. I hope that Joe Torre does extremely well in LA. Ideally i would want the world series to be between the Yankees and the dodgers. (of course I'd want the Yankees to win in the end, but it'd be nice for him to make it that far.) I wish Joe (both Torre and GIrardi) the best of luck.

I do not know if any of the players will go but usually when a new manager is named for a team then it is usually customary that he hires his own staff and it would be good for Torre to go to the Dodgers and Don Mattingly would be a plus for the Dodgers. I do believe Joe Girardi for the time being will be alright for the Yankees but I have never rooted for the Yankees .

That would be the gayest thing ever! Then they could all form a union and overthrow the owner. They could rename the team to the Los Angeles Yankees of the Former Bronx. Maybe they'll add an extra base to the field cause they feel like they can. When did Joe Torre become the Jesus Christ of Baseball? I heard next that they are taking over the White House by storm.

I already know Torre looks bad in baby blue from his Mets and Braves days. Mattingly will hopefully catch up with his son.

As for the rest, I don't think the GM has plans to sign everyone. Martin is their catcher! Clemens is washed up.

Good deal for the Dodgers, but Posada won't come over. They already have a young allstar catcher in Martin. I don't know what the others will do, though.

HAHA! And they thought they had a hard time beating the Angels before! I expect a sweep each and every series now.
