Well mate your in for a uphill battle first off I think you need to
realize your morals are messed up. When your with someone you do not go sleeping around with others. Secondly engaged for 4yrs no wonder she left you she saw that you had a problem with commitment. Usually if you ask someone to marry you the wedding is within the next 2yrs. With the average planning taking 3-6months. I think you need to figure out what you want in life before you take on another relationship. Maybe you need to just have a few flings before settling into another serious connection. It would probably do you good just to stay single for awhile and
just ponder on what you did wrong with the ex. Next time don't wait so long to propose if you have strong loving feelings for a person why wait.

Just remember lust is not love one wise person told me this many years ago if you wake up with someone and you feel like you could never be happy without them in your life then
it is a good sign that your in love.

I can observe from you asking this that you never had true love feelings for your Ex. Most men that are truly in love and this happens they are upset for quite sometime since it is like getting divorced.

Best Wishes and Take your Time and Chose Wisely!

When you find that special person everything else just seems to vanish there the only thing on your mind.

Try the singles sights online. Try joining clubs.

Why not just play the field for awhile? If you were such a dawg to cheat on her with her best friend, I'm thinking you need to grow up and learn how to be a real man in a real relationship, before getting back into the world of relationships.

I'm happy she was smart enough to finally leave. You'd of abused her emotionally again and again.

I can also see you may be at a loss as to meet people, sense you only knew how to go after her friends. Get your grunt buddies to pave the way for your meeting people.

Be friends??? Yeah right, more like friends with benefits!!! LOL But seriously you haven't forgotten, you have to just bring it out..When your out at a bar/store/library/base...and you see someone your attracted to, casually start talking about something they may be wearing perfume/jeans/shirt/..just say that's a really nice perfume your wearing what is it called etc...if she is interested she'll tell you, if she' not she be like OH! "I don't know, I forget"! Then you have to say NEXT!!!! I was out of wack myself (in a relationship for 4.5 yrs.) and that's what my current BF said to me and I found him attractive & sweet so I decided to answer him. He is a marine too by the way!!!! Anyway try simple things no cheesy pick up lines, they are ridiculous,,,LOL

She wants to be friends, huh? What she really wants is NOT to feel guilty about dumping you and so she says she wants to still be friends. That's asinine and never works. Don't waste another minute on her. Join a dating service (they are all over the place on the Web). Go in with your eyes open and don't waste time on people who have the difficulties that your first would-be financee' had.

you can meet new people anywhere you go. shopping, clubs, at sport events. start casual conversations with people. ask women out to dinner and a movie. take your time and be yourself.
