The breed of horses used in the movie, especially the grey in the final fight scene,....what is it? Can't find anything in the credits.

Goliath, the black horse, was a Friesian.

The real horse was named Othello, and he was a stallion. He is deceased now.

Incidentally, the black horse that Brom, and later Murtagh, rides in Eragon is also a Friesian.

The grey is an Andalusian. Andalusians have also been featured in lots of other movies, like Van Helsing, First Knight, The Brothers Grimm, and Braveheart.

the black one was a Friesian and the grey one was an andalusion (i think that's how it's spelled). i love that movie!!
