If they are talking a lot I'm most likely to not pay attention to everything they're saying

If they are saying something good I will. But sometimes I know when I'm on the phone and something good is on and the person isn't talking about anything of interest, I will drift off into a world of my own.

Of course!! Ignoring people talking to you is extremely RUDE, and that makes people mad, making them unpredictable. Nothing more dangerous than a mad person that knows you don't hear them....

it depends on what they're saying. if someone has a legit problem i'll listen and offer my advice. but if somone is just droning on my attention ends up elsewhere

Yeah... Most of the time... but sometimes my mind will wander off if they don't have a point to what they're saying... Or if they take too long to get to the point...
