For starters I would never pick Motel Hell(It sucked).
1-Night of the Living Dead(original)
2-Psycho(original)
These are 2 of the best horror movies ever made in the history of movie making.

I love Motel Hell is one of my favorites. I would watch the Evil Dead next finishing the evening with the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Whatever you do don't watch What's Eating Gilbert Grape is horrifying.
Can I come over? I'll bring Dr. Pepper and snack cakes

I won't bog you down by rattling of a list of movies...I will sell you on just one....
The remake of Dawn of the Dead...
Here's why:
One of the most compelling questions EVER posed is...what would Wisconsin do if they woke up one morning and the living dead began taking over....It is a veritable SURVIVAL guide of what you should and should NOT do....should you wake up one morning and the neighborhood child you've taken into your home is in your hallway at 7am and takes a bite out of your significant other's neck.
It goes on to teach you such vital things as how to deliver an undead baby....why the Mall is the most logical choice in ANY survival situation....and most of all....
How a zombie with no legs can move faster than you at a dead run.
Great movie....even if Max Headroom dies.
