I want to know how to write your own myth.

Think up a moral or concept you want to push - like good vs. evil, or a hero who overcomes a monster, or hard work will make you rich.
Develop a few characters and situations that bolster the initial concept.
Write the details, and embellish it as needed.

Well think of something you want to write a myth about then write about it. Then you have a myth. Then tell it to a bunch of little kids so they believe it.

come up with a Character & a stiuation to put them in & write it out with as few details as you can but make it seem like it really happend.
you can base it on a person in history or some one you know as well.
