country. my town used to be country but since i've lived (22 years) here people have been moving in faster then they can build houses. now it's so crowded i miss knowing my neighbors and how it used to be safe to walk down the street at night. if i move i want to move to the country. hear the bugs and birds. not worry about traffic on my way to the store. plus people aren't as friendly as they used to be. i think that happens when everyone is stepping on someone elses toes.

I can honestly say that having lived in both City & the Country that I prefer the City by miles! The Countryside (fun as it is) is very over-rated, I always thought that the Yorkshire Dales were Gods Country, now I think of it more as Gods retirement home. It is so boring for young people (such as myself) because there is not a cinema for miles & miles! Not only that but the idea of Town is a highstreet with about 20 shops, whereas there are 2 shopping presincts about a quarter of a mile from eachother in my old City, with shops along the way! =D
I don't mean to offend anyone living where I do now but I really don't think it compares. Maybe it is cos I'm a City boy born and raised but it's not even like there is less pollution here, they just have more trees to absorb the carbon than the Cities! =]
Oh well, that's my two cents but I guarantee others will disagree.
