Killing any group of people for any purpose is bad.

But I think that the Killing of African Tribes is the worst, It's still happening, isn't it?

The only objective means to use is numbers saying which genocide killed more people, however even that is not reliable. Numbers can be questioned. The Native Americans were killed so that the "new Americans" could take and have control of their land. The Africans were obviously killed for all types of resources (physical, natural etc.). The Jews were killed because of Hitler's beliefs and the hate that he spread. In the historical context, it is so much different from the other genocides because it was essentially a movement to wipe out an entire group of people because of one person's hate. I believe people "feel more sorry for the Jews" because there is no historical justification as to why this was allowed to occur. All throughout history, you have people killing other groups for land and resources. That was not necessarily something new to history.

It is hard to define what makes some killing worse then others. But I do think one has to consider intent.
With the native American, most died because they did not have immunity to diseases that the Europeans brought over. There wasn't an concerted effort to find a New World and then kill most of the population.
Now the Killings in Darfur and elsewhere in Africa are tragic but most are linked to a power struggle.
What makes the killing of the Jews so horrific was the intent. Hitler and his cronies wanted to exterminate people because of their Beliefs.
After they had control over most of Europe, so it wasn't about expanding and controlling territories or consolidating power. They already had that. They simply wanted to exterminate people they thought were less than human.

The killing of the Jews was officially recognized by the state of Germany at the time. This was the most openly acknowledged genocide of the three; and that is why people seem to feel more sorry about the holocaust. The Africans and Native Americans were persecuted under the colors of liberty and equality for all. As a result, their suffering had to be covered up and ignored by those in power so that we Americans could avoid being perceived as hypocritical. I think the worst of the three is African slavery, because it went on in the Americas and later in the US for so long and because race-based slavery itself often has a more crippling psychological effect than genocide. Segregation negatively affected other races, as well; however, the African race was singled out over a longer stretch of time and more intensively subjugated by European conquerors. The Africans were also forcibly transplanted over longer distances and lost more of their culture because of this.

Africans Tribes and Native Americans are further into the past. If you are talking about Darfur people are not moved because the media has not moved us. But the killing of the Jews gets constant attention in movies and books and it was very recent in the past. Plus they spoke english the other groups could not reach out to our 'American' sensibilities the way that the Jews could.

one is no worse then the other....its horrible no matter how you stack it. But it is not that people care more about the Jews , as it is the Jews that keep reminding us the horrors of the time, they are well organised, while other Nations are not quiet as vocal in reminding us...thos it SEEMS people care more for one then the other

Of the ones you mentioned, the extermination of the Jews as the worst. However, there is one going on in the U.S. that is worse yet. The abortion industry targets minority groups for their "services". One third of all abortions committed in the U.S. are done on black moms and children. Since over 50 million children have been killed through abortion since 1973, that means at least 17 million blacks have been murdered in this manner.
