My grandmother created a will and later changed her mind and gave it all to the older grandchild. There was a problem with the cousin and older grandson. So she just gave it all to the older grandson to stop the fuss. But now I need to know what happens when she dies inreference to the will. The bank accounts that is listed on the will have been closed out. The house have been sold to pay for some of her bills at the nursing home. So do I still have to file the will in probate. I live in SC and my grandmother lives in NY.

You do not need to probate the Will anywhere if the assets were disposed of prior to her death.

You have to go with the last will she actually signed.
