She is supposedly an "it" girl, and had a hit summer song, so why don't I see her on any major magazine covers? I've never seen her featured on the covers of People, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Red Book, Essence, Black Woman Today, Maxim, Stuff, and the list goes on and on.

She's actually on the cover of a magazine right now - and sadly, I can't think of what it is. I saw it at the grocery store checkout line, so it's going to be one of the ones you find there (and not one that you have to hunt through a magazine rack for).
This was up in Seattle, so I suppose it's possibly a Canadian magazine that they keep by the checkout, but I doubt it.
Edit: Apparently, it's Teen Vogue. Not that major, I suppose.
