Depends on how many hours per week and if you get vacation time. Average 40 hours per week X 52 weeks per year = 2080 hours per year....divide into 29,000 = 13.94 per hour Change the math if hours and weeks are different.

Take $29,000 a year, then figure up about how much that is each week. There are 52 weeks in a year. And if you work for 40 hours each week, that's 2080 hours worked in a year (over the 52-week period). So you do the math. $29,000 in a year, and 2080 hours worked in that year. HINT: Divide =D

I'm guessing that you work full time - 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and 52 weeks a year. If you multiply 8 x 5 x 52 you will get 2080 hours. Now divide your salary , $29,000 by 2080 hours. You get $13.94.
