Are you kidding? I had an uncle who was a die-hard Red Sox fan his entire life, lived his whole life and never saw them win the World Series and only saw them in 3 Series, only to lose all three in 7 games. No, curses are not missed and it was a curse.

No i dont, it was alot of heartaches for boston and all of new england. The Red sox fans love their boston red sox no matter if they win or lose, they always will even if we keep winning.

Go Sox.

Really? You mean when Garrett Atkins hit that late inning home run to make the game a one run affair, that wasn't a moment in time to become tense and a tad bit on the edge of your seat?

You do understand that in Game 3 before the Matt Holliday home run, Ryan Spilborghs came within an eyelash of a three-run homer of his own in the previous inning?

Holliday's homer was *that* close to completely ruining the lead Boston had accumulated.

Game 2 - a one run game.
Game 3 - Rockies put together a late game rally and cut deeply into what was a six run lead.
Game 4 - a one run game.

Definitely some intriguing and exciting moments.

I understand, but I'm glad its over. I feel like it gives us something to rally for and to share with each other. The fact that it took us 86 years to get a team together that was capable of winning our hearts and breaking the curse is just an amazing feat and I am not sad at all to see it go

I was actually kind of disappointed in Sunday night's game.. I mean, yeah it's great they won, and I'm a HUGE Red Sox fan don't get me wrong.. but the game was SO boring.. where was the angst, the excitement, nothing big happened. I was hoping they'd lose, for two reasons: to see a more exciting World Series win, and to see another Sox game.. I'm upset the season is over. But I know what you mean.. I miss that.

Nope, because the "curse" is back on the Yanks. Ouch, seven years now without a WS title, that stings in the ol' wallet.

No. Winning now takes care of the feeling of hopelessness experienced in the past.
