I see a lot of questions dissappear because they violate "Yahoo Community guidelines" and its a little frustrating when you feel like there might be something worth discussing and it gets deleted by people who have nothing better to do than complain about what OTHER PEOPLE are talking about...

So who do you think is responsible for the most perpetuation of intolerence by censoring this site?

People who enjoy relations with their own gender?

People of non-caucasian decent?

People who dislike other people discussing subjects that they have nothing to contribute to?

People who have no life?

People of questionable intellectual capacity who think censorship leads to enlightenment?

I didn't forget the people who are offended by religious questions (notice I didn't say RELIGIOUS PEOPLE, there are those among them who welcome enlightenment,) those people usually cover two or more of the mentioned categories. Example:
"People of questionable intellectual capacity who think censorship leads to enlightenment" combined with "People who have no life." Or "People who enjoy relations with their own gender" and "People who dislike other people discussing subjects that they have nothing to contribute to." See? Covered!

Dr. Bob -

I would have to go with the "People of questionable intellectual capacity who think censorship leads to enlightenment", especially if we are using grammar and sentence structure as a means of deduction.

You know, I don't think this is really a fair question. There are some instances where questions and/or answers are deleted without much cause but most of the deleted questions are blatantly anti-(fill-in-the-blank) and were designed that way. You ask whatever you want, you just have to be respectful when forming the question. I don't think that's an unreasonable request. Personally, I don't really care so much what random stranger I'm never going to meet think but I can understand why some people feel the need to keep reminding others that their juvenile attempts to to make others ashamed of who they are or what they believe will not be tolerated.

As a religious person - I'm going to say the uber-religious are probably the easiest to offend.

You mention pre-marital sex or cheating on someone and they get their panties in a twist.

Sorry - this is the world and this stuff happens !

Edit - and the 12 year olds ... they think everyone should be equal and people shouldn't be mean to others. It's cute and annoying as hell all at once.

I just think if people are OFFENDED they NEED NOT READ the title. After all the title of the question is there, If for example the topic is same sex relationships, you KNOW what the question is going to entail. DONT FRIGGIN read it. The world is FILLED with MORONS and UNFORTUNATELY yahoo governs it and "PROTECTS US" from ourselves

By a longshot, Religion and Spirituality. You can't say anything on there without getting someone up in arms. I could tell you that I'd prefer a wooden rosary over a pearlized one and I'd get a violation.

The people who post in dogs. Anytime I answer a question there, I get thumbs down.

you forgot religion.

it's hard to pick just one group, because it varies. for every nutjob who gets angry at everyone else's opinion, there are a handful of people who tolerate other people's opinions and are willing to discuss their beliefs. don't think everyone in a group thinks the same way. that's profiling, my friend :o)
