Heres the deal, I am playing in a 10 team 2 division league. It is a keeper league. The pay out for first place is 5k which to me is a lot of money. I am currently 4 and 4 but would be 7 and 1 if I would have gotten any production from my qb position, I have not started the right qb at the right time. Here is my line up, QBs- Warner, Brees, Griese. RBs- Tomlinson, Lynch, T. Jones, S. Young, J. Chapman, D. Ward. WRs- C. Johnson, D. Driver, D. Mason. TE- Cooley, K- Brown. We start individual defensive players but I am ok there. Here is my question, with my team, do you think it is a good enough team to keep and make a run at the title as is or do you think I should try to upgrade my wr position. I have been talking to a couple teams and I could give up something like either T. Jones, Chapman, or Young with Driver or Mason for either S. Smith or A. Bouldin or maybe R. Wayne. I might also have to give up D. Dockett (DL Az) in addition to one of the rbs and wrs.

I know without seeing all the other teams it is very difficult to make a guess, but I am just asking for a guess.

T. Jones, J. Chapman and S. Young seem to be doing well now (except maybe Jones). The thing is, how well will they don next year. Denver has a new RB every year, so keeping a Denver RB is a big risk. Chapman is going to be a back up again next year. D. Driver is getting old, so who knows how long you can keep him.I think your team is good enough to make a run this year and you can still keep some decent people for next year. I would probably make the trade to try for it this year. you have solid RBs in Tomlinson and Lynch and whoever else you can keep. Chad Johnson has to start getting TDs eventually. Cooley is good for more TDs than most TEs. Brees is starting to come back to reality and may be a solid play the rest of the year. Long story short, make the trade. I would not do it if you had to give up three RBs, but you have enough depth to give up one or maybe even two. Good luck.

I'd go after Wayne. And get rid of Driver. You seem to have a pretty good stable of RB's.

I'm not a big Thomas Jones fan either. I had him last year. He had a good year, he just never seems to break a big run. And he'll get shut down real easy. I like Marshawn Lynch for the future.

And start Brees from now on. Stick with him. I think Warner is out for a month anyway and never rely on Griese.

I would upgrade at WR.
Driver is pretty inconsistent (sure, what WR isn't) but he seems to be more inconsistent than others. Plus Farve seems to have found Jennings with the deep ball and Jones is seeing more action too. Plus with D. Lee, I don't see Driver's touches going up any time soon. And next year Driver is one year older.
I also don't like Chatman. He is good for a Bye week fill-in but that's about it. Brown had a great season sure but Chatman isn't Brown esp with PIT, BAL, and NE left on the schedule. Plus Brown will be back next year.
I would go after Wayne. Here's why. Smith's production is going down with Jake out and Bouldin is risky with Warner's elbow being hurt/semit-hurt...whatever his status is.
Wayne is a safe bet cuz Manning is Manning and Harrison has struggled with injury and will continue to do so the rest of the season. Wayne's production will improve next year as well as Harrison is one year older and will continue to have injury issues. (atleast that's my bet)
