i think i had all of them!! it was the worst feeling in the world, i never thought it could effect me as it did!
cant sleep, cant eat (lost 15 lbs in 2 weeks), cry constantly, anxiety, dont want to go out or see anyone, become zombie like, sit and wait and wait and wait, feel like you cant or dont want to go on without that person!!
the cure......unbelievable friends and family, and time!

Many, many times. It's the horrible empty feeling like nothing is worth doing, and it's all just going to result in pain and suffering in the end, so why bother.

I've found that the best cure for a broken heart is like the hangover cure "hair of the dog that bit you". Go have a quick meaningless romance, find someone to make you happy for the moment. Don't take it seriously, though, because that results in rebound relationships which also suck.

While you're looking for something short term and meaningless, take the time to develop yourself. Stop trying to find a significant other and take the time to be significant to yourself. Do something that you always wanted to do, learn something that you'll be able to use for the rest of your life. And while you're at it, try and figure out why the relationship went wrong, developing your relationship skills so the next one won't be so painful.

And don't be afraid to cry. Some people (especially guys) just try to tough it out and pretend that it doesn't hurt. Of COURSE it hurts. It's supposed to hurt. If you don't let it out, it will continue to hurt. If you let it out when nobody is looking, it makes hanging out in public a lot easier.

I wasn't sure what was going on with me but the next day I went to the ER and after about half an hour, I was told that I had a stroke the day before. I am not sure if anyone can really know if he or she is having a heart attack as symptoms vary from person to person.

Have had my heart broken quite a few times. Time is the only thing that cures it for me. And not sitting around feeling sorry for myself helps too.

We've all had our hearts broken from time to time. And the best cure is time.

Well honey, everyone is bounded to brokenheartedness once in a while though. I used to have a big "hole" in a heart after my 2nd ex-girlfriend got herself pregnant with another guy without my knowledge though. Though she's now a divorcee and still wanting to patch the relationship, I've told her that at the time of her pregnancy of her baby boy, our relationship was over though.

Sigh.....

Cheers and have a nice week ahead :)

Yeah. Takes time to cure it. Takes 6 years, if it's really a love that you're mourning.

Couldn't eat or sleep, barely made it to work. Would sit for hours, alone in the dark wondering why this was happening to me.
I tried everything I could to get back with her but nothing worked.
One night, a friend coaxed me out to dinner. I begged him for a solution as to how to win her back.
After a few minutes of pondering my question, he asked "why do you want to be with someone so desperately, who doesn't want to be with you?". It sounded like a cruel thing to ask, but after I gave it some thought, he was right. Why waste my time with someone who doesn't want me! Coming to that realization began the healing process.
Oh, and some prayer doesn't hurt either.
Good luck.
