What city without a current NFL should have one added and what would you name it. You can also choose to answer a state or country. Given attendance needs to support the team that maybe a better answer in some cases.

My answer is San Antonio. The city is the seventh largest in the U.S. and in the heart of football loving Texas. Only LA who rejected the NFL offer of the now Houston Texans after losing two teams is larger and has no NFL team. The Saints played there during the Katrina 2005 season in sold out Alamo Dome. But although wanting to move there couldn't because of pressure from the NFL not to look like they too were abandoning New Orleans.

San Antonio, they're a major city with just a professional basketball team, logically the next step is a football franchise.... I would say L.A. but there's no way, the place is over saturated.... They got two basketball teams, baseball team, and hollyywood is like right there.... for them to get a football team, something has to go, there just simply not enough room for them, the clippers!!

San Antonio, LA, or Las Vegas could be good candidates.

To be honest, I'm not sure that the NFL really needs more in the way of NFL teams. The teams are pretty well distributed around the country right now as far as covering major areas and populations. If you get too many, you start getting the problem that baseball has of your team never reaching the big game in almost your entire lifetime. It's going on 100 years since the Cubs last won a World Series. I'd hate to wait 100 years for the Colts to win another Super Bowl.

Also as you add more teams that divides and reduces the number of fans you have supporting the current teams. And with NFL salaries going up that means higher ticket prices and higher taxes to support the teams.

Los Angeles would be the first place I would go. I think that Las Vegas is a real option down the line. San Antonio is also a city that could use a team. NFL also could think about expanding to Canada.

North West Corner of South Dakota, Oklahoma, and Bama.

We were discusiing this today in class. The whole Dakota area has nothing, so theyd have a huge fan base. OK is a huge football area, and Bama ain't too bad. Make one in Canada or Mexico, just so it'll be four new teams, and another division.

Columbia (SC) Capitals. The Panthers wanted to be in Williams-Brice, but A.D. Mike McGee threw it out the door. Football is the second largest religion in S.C. Not to mention the proximity between Charlotte and Atlanta would begin a very good rivalry among those 3 teams.

Texas already has teams in Dallas and Houston, so I'll cross that off.... Florida has 3 teams... New markets are needed...

Des Moines Iowa.. there's really nothing in that area.... I think it would be a good draw..

Oklahoma City .... again, no major sports there...

Anchorage Alaska, there's no major sports in the entire state...

Providence RI ... no major sports in the city, but could draw off the New England and NY marktes.
