I can see there are 3ways of fixing pigs in a blanket.

#1. stuffed cabbages with ground beef ( and where is the pig in that?)

#2. hot dogs raped in biscuit dough
( still to much like a regular hot dog)

#3. sausage raped in a pancake
(that sounds more like it to me you have the pig and the blanket.)

My version: Get some Cresent Rolls (like Pillsbury)- take the hotdog, split it in half, add cheese in side, and roll the hot dogs into the dough! WA LA! In no time you will have satisfied the taste buds of ur hungry group. Good luck and take care!

PS- You can also use biscuit dough
May want to spray the cookie sheet with Pam or a product like this

Link sausage eaten wrapped in pancakes w/ syrup eatten like a hot dog , just shove it in and chew...
SHE can have all my sausage and I would enjoy some of HER homemade pancakes made with whole grain wheat to go with the sausage, the syrup WE will need to find that maple tree and make some, but that would be homemade as well

In the Midwest they are hotdogs wrapped in a dough and baked. Either little wieners ar the reg. hotdog. i use canned bisquits and roll the dough out and wrap it around it. Very tasty ,quick, and good.

Here's one version of the recipe:

1 package frankfurters
1 package crescent rolls
5 slices american cheese

Directions
Split hot dogs lengthwise.

Add small strips of cheese on each hot dog.

Wrap hot dog and cheese in crescent roll, rolling wide end first.

Bake on ungreased pan according to crescent roll package, or until golden brown.
