A form of irony in which apparent praise conceals another, scornful meaning. For example, a sarcastic remark directed at a person who consistently arrives fifteen minutes late for appointments might be, “Oh, you've arrived exactly on time!”

LOL

some what like irony, its when one(meaning the person) says something in an ironic, jocular(meaning joking-ly), sometimes rude way.

Sarcasm is never meant to be taken seriously. General, most people understand that due to the inflection of the words..almost in a sing-song tone that also sounds mock-angry/annoyed. Sometimes though, people do not understand it and become sincearly annoyed and upset at the sarcastic comment.

haha, sawie, jsut hadd to be first

Sarcasm is a concept. A play of words, where someone communicates with a negative or a tone of defiance in the way they speak.

For example...A person simply asks me, "Excuse me, do you know what the time is, please?
A sarcastic reply would be, "The time?...2007."
Sarcasm is the easiest and most pathetic, and lowest form of "wit".
