Use a different font. In most windows programs, look for a "format": "text" menu, and try some of the other options. Used to be just courier, and elite; now many more, with names like Arial and WingDings. There are also fonts available for download from the web.

For your *browser*, try "tools" "internet options" "Fonts"

Change the font to a Roman-style font (such as Times New Roman or Courier New) that puts crossbars on the top and bottom of a capital I. Just check out the different fonts in your word processor until you find one you like.

I think your best bet would be to change fonts, but a capital i does look like " I " in this font all the time. If you want it to have the lines on top and bottom then try changing to comic sans or some font like that. Still, remember not everybody has comic sans as default font therefore it will still look like " I " to them. I do not remember exactly how but check on a character map for your keyboard and try changing it for your enjoyment!!

Different web pages use their own font. So it don't really matter. Change your font to Times New Roman if you like the capital I with the lines on top and bottom.

The appearance of the I has to do with the font you chose. Choose a different font that has an I shaped in a way that looks more like what you have in mind.

usually, in case you set your cursor on the 1st letter, of the 1st be conscious, then click so as which you're there, then carry down the shift key and drag your cursor to the tip of what you elect capitalized and launch your mouse key. Then bypass as much as formatting and choose caps and it will capitalize all which you have chosen.
