Yes - wanna know why?
Right my old house used to be a nursing home and so I know for a fact that people have died there. It was also about 200 years old. Anyway one night I had a friend over for a sleepover and at about 4 in the morning she went to the loo. When she came back I went to turn off the lamp but just before I did someone came through the door (there were 2 doors in the room). They were basically a shadow - so it was as if I had simply turned off the light and then my mum had come in or something. Anyway they came and knelt down by my bed (lol i got goosebumps down by back thinking of it!!!) and then simply got up and walked straight THROUGH the other door which was CLOSED!!!! Explain that if you will. After that I simply went to sleep. I know I didn't dream it because I can remember it as if it was this morning and besides I just know! So please don't say it was lol. The next morning I asked my parents (it was an adult figure) if they had been in my room last night - no. So I asked my siblings (all younger than me) anyway just to be sure - no. Lol I was sooooo freaked out and when we lived there if I woke up at any time around four I wouldn't go back to sleep or move or anything - just in case!!! =D
Also I went to stay at my friends house (brand new never been lived in by anyone else before) and she says that she'd never had any ghostly experiences before I went. So she claims that I brought a spirit with me. Also she says she's had none since I've gone. Anyway I was at her house and it was about three in the morning and we were just there talking when someone poked me in the head. I said 'OY KT quit poking me wudya!!!' She said 'I didn't'. I thought that she was just tryin to get me freaked out. There was no-one else in the room. After this had happened about 5/6 times I got really pissed off and said 'hold my hands so I know that it's not you.' Because it always happened when I was looking the other way. That's when the pencil flew across the room. I believe it was her poking me but she maintains that it wasn't. However the pencil and mysterious tappings on the side of the bed when she was holding my hands and feet (don't ask!!!) I can't.
The rest are just odd noises like footsteps when I've been baby-sitting and everyone's asleep. Also when I had my birthday party overnight and we all saw a shadow under the door as if someone was stood on the other side - we ran to open it, no-one there - all asleep!!!! Then again this time moving from side to side!!!! SCARY!!!!! =D

I believe in ghosts. I've alwaya seen them as an imprint of something that happened. If someone spent a lot of time somewhere or they died tragically then you get a sort of psycic memory.
I had a pet cat when I was twelve which died suddenly. It always slept on my bed and would come in through my bedroom window. My room was on the second level of our house.
About half a year later I got a new cat and it did the same thing it would come in through my open window and sleep on my bed. One night I felt the ca jump onto my bed and curl up near my knees like she always fdid so I turned over and went back to sleep.
Come morning, I roll out of bed like I always do, went downstairs and by the back door was my cat {number two for those of you keeping track} The back door was shut and there was no way for her to have gotten through. I thought it was a little fast, and why would she come to the back door when she was already inside? I went back upstairs and the window was shut. I asked my mum later that day and she had shut it the day before. I had always seen my old cat out of the corner of my eye while I was around the house but this was the most tangible evidence that I had of some sort of continuation after death.

i don't think in ghosts, yet i've got had some "exciting" reports throughout the time of my lifetime. I positioned them all the way down to psychological coping mechanisms. working example. some days after the dying of an exceedingly close uncle, I witnessed my late grandparents (ineffective some 2 an prolonged time) attaining out to include him as he approached them. It grow to be an exceedingly comforting journey, to make certain him being embraced and welcomed into the palms of the dad and mom he hadn't seen, and had mourned for see you later. As a imaginative and prescient that's perplexing to describe. They weren't in front of me .. yet i grow to be witnessing them as though they have been. Like with a 0.33 eye, and this grow to be all happening extremely above, to my appropriate. yet another occasion: basically after darkish, whilst i grow to be ten years old, i grow to be strolling over a canal bridge with a pal of a similar age as quickly as we observed this around, eco-friendly sparkling merchandise drifting around the exterior of the canal. It grow to be very freaky, and until eventually now long we've been confident it grow to be a ghostly eco-friendly head. Oh the thrill (and envy!) we delivered on in college with that tale!! As a grown-up, I comprehend it grow to be not something greater advantageous than a will 'o the wisp. (^_~) I even have some others. possibly later. =D

yes. and yeah i have a few real ghost stories but i dont if their is exactly terrifying... anyways me and my friend were liek weird and we used to hang out in her front yard at night. so we were sitting there and her neighbor can home on his motorcycle. normal. but about 5 minutes later the same person came home basiclly again but he was in a car and the motorcycle was in the garage. which... is kinda odd cos arent ghosts ppl who have died. then another time me and my friend were vistied by her grandma. and then me and my friend we home alone when we heard the shower running. so we were freaked out so we waited for it to stop. so about 10 minutes later we heard the water shut off. at first we thought we were crazy. so we went to the bathroom and everything was wet as if someone really had taken a shower.

At my daughters house, the buttons are being pushed on the microwave. The other day her b/f was home alone and he heard the buttons again, went towards the kitchen and the dam thing STARTED ON IT'S OWN!!! The light was on, the turntable was turning!! It scared the crap outta him, and he deserves it. lol
Also, he was taking a shower last week or so and he thought my daugther was trying to get in the bathroom b/c the doorknog and door was jiggling. She was in the living room the entire time!
I think it's after him. He doesn't treat her good and I think whoever it is, is trying to make him see that he needs to do better.
I am worried about one thing though.... she is pregnant and my granddaughter is due Dec. 4th. If the entity doesn't like kids or never had kids, is my granddaughter in jeopardy? I've told my daughter to move back home b/c of this.
Also, her b/f sister said that a kid that lives near my daughter said that an old lady died in that house.
I am scared for her and my grandbaby!!!

I remember when I was about 15 years old my Grandfather had gone into the hospital. He had to have surgery. I had gone with my sister in law & her children who were small at the time to take care of my grandfather's house. My sister in law told me that if grandfather was to die that if he could he would come back & give us some kind of signal that there was life after death. Hannah decided that we were taking the kids to the drive in to watch a movie. Before we left it was real foggy outside....I had a bad feeling & did not even want to leave the house. Her being older said I had to go help with the kids (4) of them. As we were getting into the stationwagon I could smell something awlful....like something had died in the vehicle....we searched but found nothing. I was very nervous & tried talking Hannah out of leaving. She was so persistent on leaving. We went to the drive in. Upon coming back around tenish or a little later we saw in the sky what looked like a "borialis" in the sky....it was very odd to see that here in the valley where we live. It did not make any sense that it was there.....it appeared to be right in the area of my grandfather's farm. We parked the car & got the kids to bed then we went to sleep. Some time during the night Hannah got up & woke me up telling me that she sensed someone in the room with her...breathing behind her....impossible ...only a wall...then she said she saw a woman in the door way...with long wavy hair looking at her...it scared her & she came to wake me up. I told her that it was probably nothing & that she was just dreaming.....she went back to lay down.....My grandfather had a floor lamp beside the couch I was sleeping on....I could hear the long chain hit the stand on which it hung...it sounded as tho the lamp was swinging back & forth...."swoosh" I could feel the air swoosh as the lamp was coming partly off the floor heading toward me then back again....I thot I was dreaming....I reached back & the lamp pole landed in my left hand...I then realized it was not a dream. At that moment I jumped up on my feet & thot what the h--- is happening here.....I then heard from a far a horn blasting....it got closer & louder....I then saw huge lights coming closer to the property of my grandfathers farm.....it reminded me of a train.....the train went round & round the house sounding its horn never stopping....we could hear it together.....we could see the head lights coming in through all the windows in the house....round & round.....then silence.....we got a phone call shortly after wards telling us that my grandfather died...........very earie. very real. It happened. I will never forget it.

Yes, I believe in ghosts.
I watch Ghost Hunters and saw Ghost Adventures, which was compelling enough to make anyone think over their opinions about ghosts. They are hard to prove since they really don't live in our 3-dimensional plane.

i cant say that i believe in ghosts .. But at the same time I also cant say that they don't exist..
I like to have an open mind,
However I would be turned into a believer if Somethign paranormal happened to me or if i was presented with concrete evidence to prove that ghosts exist

Very good question!!! I'm very much believe and have been a believe my entire life. Thing's have followed my family always, and the older I get the more thing's I seem to run into.
I took a job at the school's indoor pool back in the early 90's, no one ever worked there for more than a few month's at a time one or two made it a year, but all left with some type of story of weird thing's going on.
I fell in love with the place!!! One night I had a group of teen's and we had a sleep over. They all knew about the story's and some that worked for me had heard their share, but this night every one got a show.
It was around eleven pm, when we desided to start our game of who could find who. Once everyone was good and hidden, all heck broke loss. The light's went out, the alarm's went off, and my ears got blasted by a group of screaming idiot's..LOL...No big deal, we all gathered, I turn off the alarm's and took out the flash light's. Then my daughter told everyone she had to go to the bathroom, I heard her say, "Get out you stupid little freak, I'm telling my Mom." I jump up to go see who she was talking to and she said that one of the boy's that happen to be setting beside me at the time, walked by the stall she was in, moving real slow like he was trying to get a peek. If it hadn't been me telling her it wasn't him she wouldn't have believed it.
Not five minutes later we all heard laughing in the main pool room and of course, with me in the lead and a group of teen's stuck to my butt, we all went to see what it was. The ball's in the main pool were just having a blast of their own, moving as if someone was playing with them, then right to the left of us the baby pool's gate swung open. I started laughing and started to say that they must be happy we were there. When I turn to see elbow's and backside. Other than my daughter and one other boy that stood by myside, all the rest had hit the front door screaming, and I was the only one who could let the out.
I never thought I would see teen boys of 16 and 17 cry from something like that, but they were. I let them out because there was no talking them into staying after that, and some never came back not even in the day. The three of us that did stay, had our own blast and ended up sleeping in the main pool room, watching horror flick's, listening to sound's that could not be explained and door's that would shut even though we three knew they had all been closed.
I stayed at that job for three year's and only left because we moved, they closed the place down and they are now turning it into some type of Gim...Guess they couldn't find anyone that the spirit's of the place liked...LOL..As for me I will always miss being a part of that place.... Rock On!!!

Yes. I do. We didn't have any ghost or spirit activity until my uncle died in like 1999. One day when we came home, I ran in the house first because I wanted to get on the phone. When I opened the closet, my uncle was standing in the closet. Number one, it's impossible for him to be in the closet.... he was 6 feet tall and our house was short and it had a shelf. Number two, when I blinked he was gone, but the memory is so vivid even after all these years. He had on a white suit, (jacket pants shirt tie) he was smiling and everything. I told my mom, (it was her brother) and I would never joke about something like that and make my mom cry... but he was there.
We moved to a new house and one day, I was in my room with the door open reading a book for school, and I saw legs run past my door. They were running in a direction where there is no room to run it, but I assumed it was my sister. But when I go in either of their rooms, they are not there, as a matter of fact they are downstairs talking to my parents. Also in that house we had a game called Nemisis Factor. You had to push a button to start it, it doesn't start on it's own. So one day again, I'm upstairs on my own and the game says "please choose a player" I run in my sisters room to see if she's there and no one is there. Why did it turn on?
Recently, and my whole family has been seeing and hearing things. We see people... out of periphial view.. .ALWAYS.... that walk past our doorways or the hall. Our house has wooden floor and you can hear the creaks of when people are walking, but you never hear anything you always see the entities. I will be downstairs while everyone is sleep at night and hear a voice that says my name, and it sounds like my father in the next room downstairs. NO one is there. Also my dad hears someone calling him down there, but it sounds like me or my sisters.
Just the other day, me and my dad were in the kitchen about to give my daughter a bath. She takes a bath in the sink.. she doesn't like the "big bathtub." So... my dad walks into the next room and sits where he can't see her but he can hear here. I go to my room, which is the next room to grab her bath toys. When i come back, she has a toy in her hand. We haven't seen this toy for like months. It wasn't by the sink, it wasn't anywhere near her, but she had it. I asked my daughter, "who gave that to you?" she said "papa." I asked my dad who again was in the next room. He said he didn't move..... and I didn't hear him move from the chair or walk into the kitchen. So how did my daughter get a toy we haven't seen in months?????? That same night, when my dad opened the back door, he saw an entity standing in the door way. He shut the door fast and then when he re opened it, it wasn't there, but we started hearing a noise that sounded like "pssst." it stopped after a while, but it freaked my daughter out.
