Absolutely. If you dont want to use it straight, mix 1/2 with water and use a spray bottle. Dont get it on carpet or curtains.

Not more than 1 part bleach to 4 parts water, and not less than 1 part bleach to 5 parts water. This is the only ratio that works well. There are thousands of kinds of mold, many of them look black. Toxic mold is very rare, at least in the Midwest so far. I add an ounce per gallon of something like dawn dish detergent to help it stick, and scrub it on, let it air dry. Wear old clothes, and ventilate. Don't hover over your work, take breaks and get fresh air... Good luck.

I recently bought an older home with wall paper in every room. When removing the wallpaper each window and the surrounding wall was full of mold in various colors. The walls had a slimy feel to them. I purchased a mask from Home Depot and cleaned my walls with bleach and water . First I opened all windows in the room to help dry out the wall and then removed some of the slime with paper towels before using the bleach mixture. Once dry I used plain water to wipe the walls down again. After cleaning the walls I bought the type of primer and paint formulated to prevent mold growth.
Make sure you use a mask!!

It is safe but dont use it straight! Mix 1 part bleach with 3 parts water. I use Tilex Mold and Mildew remover. It works great on black mold around window seals. Just spray it on and come back a few minutes later and its gone.....all you have to do is wipe away the excess spray and your done.

Yes, it's safe just dilute it with some water all you really need is about 4 tablespoons of water per qt. So, you don't waste bleach... Let it sit a minute or two and wipe (wearing gloves) with a paper towel/sponge. Good luck... Throw away sponge or run through dishwasher..

sure, as long as it won't damage your wood around the window...you might try a solution of bleach and water. Also, there is a cleaner called THE WORKS...it is for toliets...however, I have found that it works GREAT on mildew!!!
