Either the Angels or Red Sox they both have the Money to pay for A-Rod.

Gotta be a team with a lot of bucks to spend. That limits the field to Angels, Dodgers, Cubs, BoSox, Mets and yes, the Yankees. I believe the West Coast teams have the best shot right now. Cubs are unknown ubtil sale of the team, BoSox don't want to add that much to the payroll, Mets are in the same boat and have a good third baseman and lastly the Yankees could spend it, but hope they don't. In fact, hope no one spends that kind of money. It would be so very funny if all the owners backed off and he made less next season. I know that won't happen, but it would serve Boras and A-Rod a lesson.

I say he either goes to the Cubs, Giants or Dodgers. I say not the Red Sox because they have to find someone to take on Lugo if they did it. They will resign Lowell i believe and A-Rod would be going back to SS. Lugo has a big contract and is coming off a not so good year so his value is down. I think the Angels will not want to spend that kind of money on one player, they will try to fix what ails them elsewhere. The Giants have a big salary hole right now, the Dodgers would love to bring some offense in and A-Rod would love to play with Pinella again. The Tigers are out now after getting Renteria yesterday to fill their SS hole that was created when they decide to move Guillen to 1B for next year; so they will not be in the market. I think he wants to go back to SS no matter where he goes.

Moreno and Scioscia have to be sore about being manhandled by the Red Sox every time they meet in meaningful games. A-Rod would put them on a par with the new, improved Red Sox.

Originally I would have said the Cubs, but now if Joe Torre goes to the Dodgers, I say he goes to the west coast to L.A. Does anybody remember what happened when Joe Torre took over as manager of the Yankees his first year? Didn't the Yankees win World Series. Will he do the same in L.A.?

I'll say the Angels....

they would be silly not to....

they need a big bat to go with Vladdy.... A-Rod would fit in perfectly.

I hope he goes to a NL team though (like LA)

I think that he will end up going to either the Dodgers or the Angels. Especially if the Dodgers end up getting Joe Torre. They will make a strong bid for him. The Dodgers have been known to make ridiculous bids for players.

Defiantly not Boston, we are perfectly fine with Lowell at third (**Clears throat** MVP/ Golden Glove) and if we do end up getting him I'd say get rid of Lugo but that would never happen.
