I am sure if you go to work each day you have goals to accomplish. However, if you are retired or disabled or just stay at home, do you set goals for each day? A priority list sort of thing? Do you have a plan for the day when you get up ? Share with those of us who do have goals !!

WE all must have goals no matter what our situation in life is, and they are all important and matter to God and to us too.
God wants us to have peace, love and joy and total fulfillment as we live this earth serving Him, no matter what lot in live we are given. I have had some medical issues this last few years or so, and its sure changed how I do things, but you know what, I still believe for healing and I wait for it, In the meantime, I have received more than physical healing would bring. God has taught me to see things differently and see what really matters in this life and what doesnt. I was always sooo busy, that I couldnt spend as much time in prayer and in study, and you know what, now I can, and i even have time for doing yahoo, now that I am no longer doing CNA work, which just wore me out. Too much heavy lifting, its hard on a person, especially when you are no spring chicken. hahaha
But, God takes care of me, and gives me joy anyhow, in all things. The fact I can wake up in the am is blessing, the fact I belong to God is blessing enough. The fact I can walk and talk, and think and love, and look around at all the beauty around me and appreciate it, is all blessing. The fact that I can love and be loved by others is major blessing. If I begin to think on it, I can barely stand up. ITs to the kneees for prayer of Thanksgiving. God is so good all of the time. Maybe one day I speak to someone in a wheelchar that no one else seems to notice, whatever.. WE must look for the ways to bless God and others too. We only have one car now and my husband drives it to work, so for the first time, I have been more closed in and it was hard, but God has used this time to truly get to KNow Him more and understand the purpose He calls me too. I wouldnt trade that for anything Yes, I wake up with goals, and have them daily. Yes, we must have priority lists , and ways not to just bless God, but others too, and in the meantime, we are so greatly blessed.
Some of the happiest ppl I know are shut ins with major disabilities, as they learned to be in full faith and to know what matters most in this life is their own personal reliationship with Jesus Christ. Now having more time to read, pray and study and even wittness to others that are shut ins also.
I love your question and I pray it makes ppl think.
God bless you. to overflow......
