If I were you, I would make the minimum payments on the credit card and take them to court and sue them for the 2000 plus any interest that you are incurring in the meantime. If you think they have legit charges for anything, deduct that amount from the 2000. In addition to that, you should follow up with a reputable dentist because you cant go on with temp fillings for very long, and consider suing them for the bill you get from that dentist too. If they did unnecessary work on you that you did not ask for and it needs to be finished up by another dentist, they should pay for that too ADD: ANother thought. You should call the credit card company and tell them you are disputing the charge. Not sure how that works, but I think the credit card would stop payment to the dentist and the dispute would now be just between you and the dentist and you wouldnt have to make payments, and your credit rating would be kept out of the whole thing

I love going to the dentist. But it's weird when they try to have a conversation with you when their hands are in your mouth.

yes! I had to have two fillings last week and he shot me up with 8 shots of novacaine!!! What's up with THAT???
