First of all clean your room - vaccum, dust, etc and get those dirty clothes out of there!
If you have curtains that are washable I would suggest throwing them in the wash with some good smelling detergent and hang them back on the windows to dry. Everytime I do that my rooms smell fresh for days!
Wash everything in the room that is washable - sheets, comforter, etc
Gain is my detergent of choice for fresh smelling clothes, etc.
After everything is clean spray some febreeze around the room.
Keep the dirty clothes in a hamper or laundry room!

I guess the obvious answer is to clean up your room.. This may sound silly but, have a place for everything and everything in it's place... Once a week or more if needed take your laundry and wash it/dry it and put it away... Once the floor is cleared- sprinkle floor with baking soda and leave on all day/night and vacuum in the morning or when you have a free moment... You might even want to put a container of baking soda in your closet to absorb odors from tennis shoes/dirty clothing etc...Change/wash your bedding at least once a week as well and wash your comforter/blankets once a month... Dust once a week and your room should smell fresh/clean. Febreeze and other fragrance's help but, it's good to start with a clean bedroom. Good luck

Get a hamper for your dirty clothes. Don't leave a wet towel on the floor. Put baking soda on the floor and vacuum it up. It will help to take the odors out without putting harmful fragrances and sprays in the air. Most of that stuff is made with formaldahyde anyway. Gross!!

Clean, clean. I put baking soda on the carpet of my sons room. It helps to remove the sweaty smell of the room where boys live. I also clean anything I can with lemon juice. It puts a great citris smell in the room. Not perfume. Wash all the blankets and rugs. We do this all once a month.

Wipe all surfaces down. Wash all sheets and curtains. Mop floors and shampoo carpets. Febreeze your mattress. Spray your room well with a good air freshener and get an Airwick Freshmatic dispenser to keep it smelling fresh. Make sure you wash your sheets weekly and Febreeze your mattress weekly as well. Mop or vacuum your carpet weekly as well. Good luck. 2D

First things first, Clean that room, not just straighten it...clean it. Wash bedding, curtians, clothes. Wipe down your doors and baseboards with warm soapy water. Then the fun part....place sented dryer sheets everywhere, in every drawer, under your pillows, in the hamper, in your closet (in pockets of hanging clothing).
Good Luck

Burn incense under the furniture and the smoke will clear the air. Also gets rid of insects. You only need burn it once a week. I like burning incense close to my wardrobe so my clothes are scented. You can get oak, cinnamon, lemon, all kinds of scents in incense.
