Ok if you are like 18 or younger and still in highschool, not okay if you are like 35 with a real job, except some of Penneys jewelry is actually really nice if you are buying the higher priced jewelry thats real stones and better metals.
Also depends on the girlfriend, you don't want to be buying 300 dollar pieces for someone you have only dated for a few months. Its probably a matter of how much your girlfriend is really worth to you.
I wear all priced jewelry as long as it looks nice and not cheapy and is not made of nickel since my skin reacts to it. I dont know what the big hype is about Tiffanys and those kinds of jewelry stores, personally I would not even want to own something that was thousands upon thousands of dollars, then you have to pay insurance on it.

no, I would love to get jewelry. If she is picky, I wouldn't recomend getting her jewelry or perfume. Unless she tells you exactly what she wants. But then it just throws off the element of surprise..
