Yes often! It's the only way to travel! You may meet up with other folks along the way and travel with them for a few days, then say goodbye and maybe meet up with new companions for the next leg of your journey. Best of both worlds!

Yes.....I have taken short city breaks to many countries in Europe on my own....Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Ireland are the ones I can think of right now.....I think I feel that travel is usually easier that way!

P.S. - I forgot France - I have been there alone once or twice, too.

No.... i dont know, i dont think it would be a good idea for me to travel all alone. I always need somebody to travel with me. Any volunteers? ;)
