I don't like calling them Islamo Fascists, too many Muslim freinds. I prefer to call them Chicken Turds. It defines them much better without calling in most of the Islam population who are very peaceful.

Little girl...Manhattan was precisely the area hit by terrorists. I know this because I live in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and saw the attack along with my wife and children out of our apartment window 20 blocks away from the World Trade Center. Believe it or not, I don't need your help, or any other Red-Staters help to "understand" terrorism.
Please spend some time in this City, ride the subways, walk the streets and talk to New Yorkers...and THEN try to tell me how "soft" we are.
As for 'Texas swagger' Bush is from Connecticut...he is a product of prep schools, privilege and Rove's marketing.
Grow up a little...and then come back and you can sit at the adults' table.

Invading Afghanistan was the correct thing to do.

I think we are in big trouble from 2008 to 2012 if a democrat gets into office. Let's cut the budget for military and US intelligence again. Let's think we are untouchable again.
My husband, Army Airborne Veteran, wants to go join blackwater now. He will want to visit Middle east alone if a dem gets into office. He was in when Reagan was Pres. and he was proud to serve under that Commander and Chief. Swears he would be proud to serve under Bush. Lots of Bush haters out there but he made sure we were not as vulnerable to outside attacks again. Could change soon.
I most definitely expected the thumbs downs. I personally love it. That means my opinion bothers you on some deep gut level. Terrorists are not POW's do not deserve anything under the Geneva Convention.
