I'm thinking we will break the barrier that holds us back but it won't change the past, only how fast or slow we actually travel through it. Example: an astronaut travels in time to Mars but when he arrives back on Earth, it's the same'o same'o and will seem like the past but not really. We will use time travel for space colonization.

It would create a paradox and that would not work. I do how ever believe we will be able some day to travel to a parallel universe. I believe every possible out come has happened. And if we can learn to travel there we can teach ourselves.

No, if we could travel back in time I'm sure that we wouldn't be allowed to change or influence the past in anyway.
