Betty Bazz... - He has donated over 300 million dollars to charity, he wrote the songs "Heal the World" "Earth Song" "We Are the World" and countless others to raise awareness of problems in the world. He recently donated his time and efforts to helping the AIDS epidemic in Africa. I think he has done more than Al Gore has done in the name of Peace, and Al won the peace prize.

i applaud his charity work and generosity,but i think this black cloud about the alleged child abuse would hurt his chances.

You think Michael Jackson has done a lot for AIDS and poverty in the Third World? Bono has done more now than Jackson has ever done, I believe. That "We Are the World" and Live Aid were the responsibilities or Sir Bob Geldouf, (SP?) I'm sure
Bono should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. And this is a serious answer.

No. B/c of the his past I keep thinking he is insane and needs to be put in mental hospital. I did think he was a molester but that changed after discovering how the mother of the boy involved in the court case was practically ordering the jury to think on her side. So after that I thought she was just a money grabbing twit.
