A lot, I am the boss of my own business. I have to be there even if I'm sick.

I rarely get sick, so probably never...but when I have a cold coming on, I definitely go to work and share. Several of the others like calling in sick, so why not give them an actual reason to!! But, so far I'm unable to take credit for sharing.

The only time I wont go in if I am sick is if I totally lose my voice. I am a dispatcher so having a voice to answer the phones and communicate with my drivers is a must.

I don't often get sick, thank goodness.
In my job, it is a pain in the butt for all involved for me to call in sick, but then, I also don't want to give the residents what I have either, since they are more susceptible.

Used to always go to work no matter how sick I was - but because of how crappy the company I work for is to their employees - I simply don't care anymore - if I'm sick - I'm staying home and they can just suck it.

I have to loose my voice to not go to work. I go to work sick all the time.

I did that for 2 years straight. My doc told me that I couldn't work anymore, but, I was too stubborn to give in .. until I had a major break-down. I miss work. :(

If I don't have a fever or an intestinal thing, I go in to work.
I like saving my PTO days for the end of the year.
