You could type "phonebook: xxx-xxx-xxxx" in Google if it's a land line to reveal some free listings which are VERY basic indeed.

If it's a cell phone number or unlisted number, you'll be better heading to a site such as http://reversecellphonesearcher.com . It's a very efficient search tool which allows you to easily search for land line numbers, cell phone numbers and unlisted numbers.

The site itself is free to use however you have to pay a small fee to purchase any comprehensive listings you want. This is to cover the cost of the IMMENSE admin work behind the service.

The fee is guaranteed so it's very safe - making sure you get the right records!

Just enter the phone number in GOOGLE - it will work. Unless it's a cell phone number, that obviously won't work.
