Do you mean taxonomically? If so:

Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Mammalia
Order: Primates
Family: Hominidae
Genus: Homo
Species: H. sapiens

If you mean spiritually, we are beings who are capable of free will and love. We can do good or bad. We can choose to love or hate. And most craziest of all, we question our existence.

If you mean behaviourally, we're the type of creatures that live in groups, called families, which after a series of many other classes, live in society at large.

If you mean philosophically, the human is simply a mind that thinks.

I think that covers the important definitions.

Hope this helped.
