How long can you go with out your shot without getting pregnant?

I just realized that I was supposed to have my shot last Monday but I forgot! Can you go without it for a while before there is a risk of being pregnant? Because I have been sexually active since then.

You can get pregnant at any time as the shot is not 100% effective.

You would need to get a pregnancy test done before they give you another shot since you missed it last week.

Inform the person giving you the shot.

The depo shot usually last for a few weeks after you stop taking it... so you should be covered but i would go get it done as soon as you can....
