Yes. I have ghosts and they will not visit with the lights on. Plus, I have to be up all night because I have a newborn to feed every 3 to 4 hours.

When I was stationed in Alaska it is light 23 hours a day in the summer. It took two blankets over the window to get to sleep. But I would have taken some of that light in the winter.

Actually sleeping with lights on depends on your family condition . Some people ( oldage, childrens) get nightmare if they sleep in dark. In some houses there are old peoples who mostly wake-up in night for bathroom, in that case light should be kept on for their visibility as when we wake-up from slepp, our mind still doesnot works actively and it is in half sleepy state.
So to avoid any accident, we should use a nightlamp, and if possible let that light on in some other room from where u can get dim light if u wake up in night, because u can enjoy the fullest while sleeping with the lights put off.
