has anyone had any trouble with their penis and testicles? i started noticing trouble about 2-3 months ago when i was working as a forklift driver. i used to work nights for 8 hrs and i couldnt drive for 5 minutes without itching my balls. i put it down to bouncing on the seat all night and ended up leaving. then about a month ago my penis started swelling especially the foreskin. i went to my local gum clinic and they tested me for sti's which all came back clear. i even went back to see another doctor because i was still in pain and swollen and they kept saying nothing was wrong. in the end after 2 weeks of waiting for results i went to my gp who said ive got infected tubes from the testicles. he gave me some ofloxcalin and then i went back last week but couldnt see the same doctor. this doctor told me my foreskin is swelling cos its shrunk so this time they have given me some steroid cream. the swelling has gone down on my foreskin but i feel hes still not himself.??

but wouldnt my balls itch from the infected tubes? ive read about jock itch but ive had my balls for 26 years now and hardly used to notice them but since its all happened i cant sit down without worrying about squashing and they always seem in the way. they was hanging really low all the time too which i think is what is making them itch. but like today they have been up and the sac seems swollen. i know the doctor gave me some tablets for that but i read that it can take 6 weeks for infected tubes to clear but im no doctor

1 very last thing i forgot to mention is that my penis sometimes goes hard but stays the same size as it would be when flacid. its not like an errection or anything. but that could be something to do with the foreskin strangling my dick im not sure i just wish i was back to myself again :(

Two things the Jock itch is similar to athletes foot and makes you sack itch and you may have flaky skin. You can use over the counter powders to kill that. The forskin problem is a common one and best left to a doctor, You can develop a problem where the foreskin does shrink and then traps moisture under it and it can be like a rubber band around the tip. The steroid cream should help but you may have to use it for quite a while. Get in touch with the doctor and tell them your still not feeling right. Hope you get well , Thats not a good feeling at all.

The medical term is epydidimitus. You have a bacterial infection in the tube attached to the testicle. It's very common in older men, especially when they're sitting down and sweating. Also,if underwear is too tight, the sperm can plug the ducts that are inside(about the diameter of a human hair).See your GP for antibiotics and use a heating pad to alleviate the swelling.Steroids will affect your sex life because they're made from male sex hormones, your body compensates by releasing female hormones from the adrenals or cutting back on male hormone production.Give it time.Your GP will probably tell you to use Advil or Motrin for the pain.
