There is no news put these days that is truly news worthy. Oh wait I am sorry breaking news on all the big networks showing Paris Hilton missing another court date is imprtant to the American public, thank god someone is keeping us informed of that ****, or wait wait Brittany Spears drunk again with no panties on and she dropped her baby again, wow now I can sleep better at night. God for bid they show us true reality, not the scripted **** on all the latest reality shows out there. It would make no sense at all for news networks to talk about the war in Iraq and the effect it has on soldiers there and their families left behind to live on, or talk about pollution and global warming and how in the world will fix this problem. Ok so I'm supposed to believe that between big government, the oil industry, and the big 3 atuo makers, that an affordable alternative fuel that is cheap to make and sell can't be made. I figured with the $$$ and knowledge these 3 groups have that we could have the next big thing at the gas stations of this country. But that must be my simple mind exaggerating again thinking that our government is looking out for you and I. But too many in Washington don't want this change to happen while they are in because they may lose $$$ that the oil companies pump into Washington or wait maybe they would lose there job do to pressure put on them by big corporations. Wake up and see what is happening America.

Yep. Thanks for the link! I can't watch TV news anymore. I sincerely think the broadcasts are deliberately emotionally manipulative propaganda and I'm not going to be suckered into depression and apathy by some Barbie or Ken doll who can't get work in theater. I listen to the radio (NPR or BBC), read the local paper and/or Internet. If I want to be entertained or titillated I *MIGHT* watch network TV or I'll throw in a DVD. Better yet, I'll read a BOOK! (Fancy that. I'm weird, I know. LOL!)

I found long ago that I was too affected by watching the news on TV. Instead I'll listen to radio news, which is short, and to the point. The news isn't any better on radio, but it is more manageable for me to hear without being overwhelmed.
It is good to hear good news....thanks for the website site.

Thanx for the link, I needed a lift.

Like you, I get sick of the news: War, terror, disasters, etc.
I also worry that I will wake up and find out we have started WW3.

Yes, hearing bad news like that day in and day out
can be depressing.

I do not watch it like I use to, TV in General.

I look to the bible for good news and comfort.
John 17:3.

If they started to give some remuneration, certainly I would go and visit. But you should remember what is our people's daily necessity. the news and current affairs are the response to the person in need.

wow. turn of the telly and read the paper sometime. there's usually more balanced reporting in paper. tv news seems to sensationalize all the bad stories because they're dynamic.
