Commissioner's Trophy (MLB) - new one each year. 30 flags - one for each team. Two logos for participants.
Vince Lombardi Trophy (NFL) - new one each year.
Larry O'Brien Trophy (NBA) - new one each year.
Lord Stanley's Cup (NHL) - one and only! Passed down from team to team. Winners have names of players and coaches etched into its rings. Once a ring is completed, the oldest ring is retired to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, with the original cup from 1893, and a new ring is put on. Each player gets the cup for 24 hours to do whatever they please with it. That's what makes it the most cherished prize in all of sports!

A new Commissioner's Trophy is made each year. A pennant is added to the trophy as each World Series champion is crowned. So, the trophy that is awarded at next year's World Series will include another pennant with the Boston Red Sox name on it.

its a new one every year so now the red sox can display their trophies from 2004 and 2007 side by side.
ricky, DUH! you are so wrong. a new pennant is NOT added to the trophy each year. There is one pennant for each team in all of baseball (both leagues)
