I'm going with the west.
YOu have the greatest player the game has ever seen in Wayne Gretzy
You have one the greatest stickhandlers in the game in Denis Savard
You have a Norris trophy winning defenceman in Randy Carlyle.
You have an excellent journeyman defenceman in Joel Quenneville.
You have an excellent centreman in Jacques Lemaire.
Craig MacTavish? Once killed a woman, so you have that edge!
Dave Tippett? An excellent defensive forward!
What does the East have?
Paul Maurice, Michel Therrien, Thomas Renney, Jacques Martin, and John Tortorella between tham have 0 games of experience
Don Waddell played 1 game
Peter Laviolette played 12 games
Claude Julien played 14 games
John Stevens played 53 games
Ted Nolan played 78 games
John Paddock played 87 games
So, 11 coaches from the East so far have combined for 245 games, 14 goals, 41 assists and 56 points.
Finally, the last group of players have potential
Lindy Ruff played 691 games (300 points)
Brent Sutter played 1,111 games (829 points, 3 Stanley Cups)
Guy Carbonneau played 1,318 games, 663 points, 3 Stanley Cups)
Glen Hanlon, 477 games, 3.59GAA, 13SO, 167Wins
Since Hanlon gave up Gretzky's first goal, and Gretzky, Savard, and Lemaire ALL have more points than the top pointgetter on the east.
I'm going with the west on this one.

If we include assistant coaches and general managers the east should win. We have a somewhat capable goalie with the Islanders GM Garth Snow. And Montreal with Gainey/Jarvis/ Muller/ Carbonneau should be able to shut down Wayne.

properly, based on the hockey information participant surveys, Edmonton is the least standard place between loose brokers, and Calgary is 4th worst.......specially simply by climate, yet additionally simply by loss of 'exciting' Edmonton and Calgary are the two interior the backside 5 in metropolitan section. Ottawa ranks in basic terms somewhat greater (twenty fourth least primary place to sign) for comparable motives. Taxes are yet another....Alberta nevertheless trails any American state. the place could I sign? Chicago can't have sufficient funds me. Montreal in basic terms performs Europeans and individuals recently. i assume i could call Jimmy D and beg for a activity. Least attention? Edmonton. Coldest city in North American expert activities, presently the smallest city interior the NHL in metropolitan section (no longer far at the back of Ottawa.,....yet sufficient), and the team has unfavorable administration. Pisani has no longer had many type words approximately Ouilers administration....and Ryan Smyth has had comparable sentiments on condition that he left. i've got under no circumstances lots loved the city to start with

The west not only has Gretzky, but the Coyotes' goalie coach is Vienza Trophy winner and Hall of Famer Grant Fuhr. So scoring isn't a problem and preventing scoring isn't a problem...West wins.

Small roster if we just use coaches but if we include GMs and assistant coaches, it would be quite the game. Have to work it out to get Mario on the ice too somehow. I agree with just coaches the team with Gretz has a leg up.

Lindy Ruff for the East, Wayne Gretzky for the West. Lindy is a squirrely angry man, my money's on him and his fellas. He'd bring the temper, Ted Nolan would bring the coif.
Unless, does anyone remember the cartoon ProStars? It was Michael Jordan, Bo Jackson and Wayne Gretzky as super heros? And Wayne had these crazy little pucks and a gigantor mullet? If THAT Greztky showed up, I dunno...
