Yeah, it's a good thing that democrats never do that. They never throw terms out like 'warmongering neocons'. Wait a minute .....yes they do. Politics is a dirty game, neither side is a batch of innocent kittens.

I don't really fear it because it's already begun and I don't see it being any more disgusting than usual. A good third of the republican debate the other night was devoted to trash talking about Hillary. Fox "News" even did a post-debate story about how their panel was horrified whenever Hillary Clinton's name was mentioned. A zenith in investigative reporting, I tell you....*rolls eyes* It was interesting how Ron Paul and Huckabee won the text poll at the end and they said next to nothing about Clinton. Could it be that America cares more about the issues and what candidates are going to do for our country than senseless mud-slinging on the opposing party?

No. I believe once the truth and some warrants come out you can be sure the Democrats will be scrambling. How Hillary '08 received so much money. Where the records are, have donations been calculated or omitted and how far past the Campaign Ethic's Committee regulations, just how low did the front runner go? Hillary may just remove Hillary. Without any help.

I don't fear it, but it will happen. No one can "demonize" someone without there being some truth to what they are saying.

Even John Edwards was "demonizing" HIllary the other day - he blasted her for taking corporate lobbyists' money, and pointed out that she has taken more corporate money than any candidate, Democrat OR Republican.

I don't know that it's true, but I wouldn't be shocked if it were. The fact is, she has taken a whole BUTTLOAD of corporate money.

If a candidate opens herself up to being "demonized," then that's HER fault.

Jerry was right. If Hilary runs, the Democrats lose. The bible belt will NOT vote for her. And the Republicans have learned how to galvanize this voting block and get them to the polls.

It's really very simply; which party represents MORE of what that voting block WANTS? Hilary and crew do NOT. They will pick the lesser of their two perceived evils.

Hello President Guiliani. :)

If Hillary's 300 mil came from a base of citizens and not major players I would want her to win too. Instead the money came from top ranked political fundraisers catering to special interest. She has an allegiance to them, not us. She takes the money from them and then con people like you because she needs the middle class and poor people to vote in order for her to win so she can move forward with her personal goals.

Are you kidding, they are already making sure they stir the mud up from the bottom of the barrel, and it is only just beginning. All the candidates will be dipping from that barrel before November 08 in BOTH parties.

No, The democratic candidates do a fine job of demonizing themselves. No help from the Republicans needed.

Actually, I don't "fear" it--I'm hoping the GOP continues their strategy of smear tactics. It's debatable how much that helped them overall--given how many people it alienated.

While those tactics will still "enrgize" waht's left of their base, howevr, the religious right that hijacked the GOP years ago are now so thouroughly discredited and disliked, they will only guarantee a Democratic victiory--and further Democratic gains in Congress-if they continue with their campaign of hate.

Which I fully expect them to do. :)

I think the democrats demonize themselves just fine without any help from the GOP.
