Truly lucky rabbits' feet are only taken from rabbits who have lived nearly double the normal lifespan and died of natural causes.

Well now that you asked....the Rabbit instead of having to feed all 1million of it's litter he can rest in peace in animal heaven. He also fed a family who needed to eat instead of dying of disease and/or living and being eaten by preditors who would eat him alive. Sounds lucky to me.
